Gatlantis Fleet

The Gatlantis Space Fleet was the military branch of the Gatlantis Empire. Given the militarism of the nation, high-ranking officers of the Space Fleet were often some of the most influential people in the imperial hierarchy, with the organization's Commander-in-Chief Goenitz being regarded as the most powerful individual within Gatlantis under Emperor Zworder and Prime Minister Saberah. Both he and the commander of the Seventh Mobile Fleet Valsey served on Emperor Zworder's staff.
The Space Fleet was organized into various divisions and fleets, ranging in size from a few dozen[10] to thousands of vessels.[11] Each fleet was headed by a Commander-in-Chief. Valsey's fleet served as the Empire's primary force. Like all positions in the Gatlantis Empire, the commander of a formation inherited his rank and name from his predecessor.[14] At least some Gatlantean fleets, such as the Goland Fleet[14] and the Eighth Mobile Fleet, had a ground component comprised primarily of foot soldiers and Needle Slaves. The considerable advantage in raw strength Gatlanteans had over other humans allowed even lightly armored warriors equipped mostly with melee weapons to stand up against better-equipped soldiers from other species. Only one primarily ground-based division is known to have existed and was under the command of Zants Zurvival during the Gatlantean occupation of Terezart. Even then, the only ground vehicles used by the division were converted battleships.
Due to their innate tendency toward destruction, Gatlanteans were not prone to create or repair. As such, their military relied heavily on science slaves taken from other species to develop their weaponry, and on the Ark of Destruction to build them. Soldiers serving in the Gatlantean military were called warriors. The empire also made use of direct warriors, i.e. warriors appointed as vassals under the direct command of the Great Emperor. One direct warrior was Goran "Thunder" Dagam, who also served as Governor-General of Gutaba.

Superweapons, Carriers and Battleships

The Calaklum-class is a heavy battleship measuring 520m in length. The design of its hull is very different from other gatlantis ships, giving it a unique operative function. Alongside more traditional weaponry, it is equipped with a Lightning rotation gun, a firing system which uses a ring of small torpedo bits that amplify the beam energy when fired. In addition, its firepower can further be increased by supplying a large amount of lightning strike bits from multiple ships of the same type. When put together various Calaklum-classes can assemble a Legionairre Cannon or an Inferno Cannon, two incredibly devastating weapons capable of destroying a vast number of ships or even entire planets. However, firing them results in destroying the ships that assembled them.
The Nazca-class is armed with an arsenal of 3 octuple rapid-fire turrets, 2 double rapid-fire turrets, 18 anti-air guns and at least 8 missile launchers and 2 torpedo launchers. Ships of the class are capable of dishing an immense amount of damage with extreme accuracy thanks to the turrets scattering of the energy during firing. The upper structure of the hull has a hollow central part that serves as a flight deck. Two elevators are placed in each of the left and right hangars, and an elevator for large aircraft is also placed behind the center of the flight deck.
The Apocalix-class was the largest space carrier in the Gatlantis Empire's military. The vertically symmetrical hull consisted of a flight deck and a hangar, the upper and lower decks could be rotated, allowing the onboard machines to be deployed by the centrifugal force. Artillery weapons were concentrated on the upper and lower surfaces of the hull; in addition to the main guns and anti-aircraft guns, the class was equipped with two rapid-fire turrets and two powerfull beam cannons for obstacle destruction.
The Gostok-class is one of the largest and most heavily armed warship classes to serve in the Gatlantean army it's equipped with two ultra-giant missiles on the bow capable of annihilating entire enemy fleets, which can be replaced by other warheads or even by landing pods depending on strategic demands. The battleships of the class are also armed with 29 other missiles as well as 2 beam turrets and 7 hybrid turrets capable of shooting both beams and missiles. The Flame Strike Gun becomes even more destructive when it is paired with two instant matter transporters, built from Garmillan experimental designs.[8][10] The weapon is fired directly into a field projected by the matter transporters; the cannon's discharge is teleported toward a target, allowing the Medalusa to stay out of enemy weapons range while potentially giving it an added element of surprise.
Medalusa battleships are warp capable. Fighters take off and land from a V-shaped flight deck on the top aft section. Ships of the class can be adapted into massive tanks for ground actions, with removal of their Flame Strike Guns and matter transporters. In this configuration, the upper hull can be mounted with a reflection satellite cannon. Although Medalusa vessels are typically crewed by Gatlantean soldiers, tank versions can be fully operated by artificial intelligence systems.

Cruisers and Destroyers

The Lascaux-class Cruiser was a heavily armed ship that made out the backbone of the empire's fleet. It is equipped with 11 eight-barrel rapid-fire turrets, 3 quadruple-barrel rapid-fire turrets, and 10 missile tubes. The torpedo type variant of the lascaux is equipped with a super large missile that protrudes from its bow.
The Kukulkan was a small Destroyer which focused on high mobility. It was armed with an arsenal of 5 main rapid-fire turrets, 3 secondary turrets and at least 10 anti-air guns, its weapons had vastly improved accuracy due to scattering the energy during firing and are capable of dishing a immense amount of damage in a short time due to this. The Kukulkan-class destroyers were some of the fastest ships used by the Gatlantis Empire. They were typically used for hit and run attacks, and rarely went head-to-head with enemy warships due to being very fragile. This led them to being produced in countless numbers, serving in almost every battle and confrontation the Gatlantis Empire took part in as they made excellent escort vessels for larger ships in their navy.

Fighters and Special Weapons

The Deathvatator had a shape similar to an hermit crab. It was equipped with a rapid-fire rotating turret on its upper surface and 8 machine guns fixed on the front of the hull. It could also carry six air-to-air missiles or large anti-ship missiles. It was piloted by a crew of three. The Suicide Attack Ship Eater I is a large fighter developed to counter the UN Cosmo Navy's Wave-motion shielding technology. It is capable of neutralizing and breaking through an enemy ship's shield and pierce the hull. After that, it randomly shoots its rotating turret at the target and self-destructs.
