Colony Worlds.

History

The Cybertronian colonies were founded during the Age of Expansion. By Codexa's account, the colonies owed themselves to the efforts of Cybertron's various Titans who fought, sometimes sacrificial, wars of genocide against rival alien powers and species for their planets. The Change In Your Nature Part Five Colonists travelled to their new worlds in Ark-class vessels, their voyages escorted by Titans. Escape Part One Parties that existed "behind the barrier of quintessence" sought to silence Cybertron's expansion. Abducting the Cybertronian explorer Exarchon, the aliens warped him into a warlord and sent him against his species. War's End Part Three The subsequent War of the Threefold Spark that Exarchon unleashed on Cybertron brought an end to the prosperous age of colonization.
Under the terms of the post-war Nominus Edict, new colonies were only to be founded if the Senate had come to a unanimous agreement on the subject. Orion Pax: Free Fall Senator Megatron heavily criticized this aspect of the Edict, feeling it had been passed only so as to avoid the risk of antagonizing alien races. The World In Your Eyes Part Five Before he was due to replace Codexa as the chief archivist, Orion Pax desired to leave Cybertron for "a kilocycle or three" and visit the colonies. Orion Pax: Free Fall This walkabout ultimately convinced Orion to go into politics instead of following in his mentor's footsteps.
Rare colonies established despite the Edict included Mayalx, a dreary asteroid that hosted an energon production and transmission station which the Constructicons had found themselves banished to, Constructicons Rising, Part 1 and Probat, a protectorate, still inhabited by its native species, that hosted an energon production facility. Having a low opinion of the Reversionist faction, Brainstorm felt that the lot of them ought to be shipped off to the most remote colony. The World In Your Eyes Part Four In teaching Rubble about the world, Bumblebee informed him that, while Cybertron was largely a peaceful world, violence between Transformers existed on colony planets. The World In Your Eyes Part Two Among such violent acts was heads being bashed in from multiple traumatic impacts, something Ratchet noted when he examined Rubble's corpse, the newborn having died from such injuries. While this was happening, Sentinel Prime was on a tour of the colonies with his inner retinue, along with some alien ambassadors, but, upon hearing of the chaos on Cybertron, cut his tour short.

Caminus Colony

A moon of a gas giant, which in turn orbited a dwarf star, Caminus was settled by colonists from Cybertron sponsored by Solus Prime. Since many of their Titan's systems were spread out and integrated into this new civilization, the inhabitants of the civilization he founded named their planet in his honor. Cut off from Cybertron and stranded on their resource-poor world, the Camiens developed a culture of conservation and careful energy husbandry. Camien warriors rely on swords instead of using consumption-heavy ranged weaponry. Caminus would also give rise to the Cityspeakers, a tradition of communicating with dormant Titans.
Caminus also hosts a flourishing artistic and spiritual community, in spite of its straitened infrastructure. Chief among them is the Way of Flame, a religion that deifies Primus and the Thirteen, extoling Solus Prime as the spiritual progenitor of Caminus and the greatest of the Thirteen. This religion is headed by the Mistress of Flame, the spiritual leader of the planet. Most Camiens are fanatically devoted to the lineage of the Primes, viewing even modern Primes as gods to be worshipped and followed without question. But in the absence of any actual Prime to issue commands, the Forgefire Parliament oversees the colony. Even so, the Parliament is quick to default to the commands of the Mistress of Flame or a Prime should the opportunity arise. The term for things relating to Caminus is Camien.

Theophany Colonies

When the Great War began growing out of control, the peaceful Circle of Light abandoned Cybertron to find a new home, ultimately settling down on Theophany where they built an underground city named after the old Crystal City. Drift #2 Thousands of years later, Braid and his Slavers arrived on the same planet and set up a camp used to imprison their slaves. The Decepticon Deadlock stumbled onto this camp after crashing onto Theophany in an escape pod, and ended up being found by the Circle of Light and taken to Crystal City. Drift #1 His influence eventually led to the Circle reevaluating their decisions, raising their city to the surface and destroying the Slavers. Some time following Deadlock/Drift's departure from Theophany, Crystal City was attacked by Chief Justice Tyrest's Legislators and the members of the Circle of Light were either killed or captured. Arm the Lonely Once Drift returned with the Lost Light to recruit the Circle's help, he found them missing and the local area of space annexed by the Galactic Council. A team went down to the surface to investigate the ruins of the city and found the Titan Metrotitan sleeping beneath it, but were quickly forced to leave again due to trouble with the Council.

Eukaris Colonies

The Jungle Planet (also known as Beast Planet, Animatron, Animatros, Eukaris, Biosfera, and Biosphera) is a lush and verdant world covered in pristine wilderness. The light of day is harsh and scorching; the rains are torrential downpours. Volcanoes rise above the green canopy, usually slumbering in smoky menace, sometimes bursting forth with firestorms of destruction. Amidst its verdant jungles and oceans, strange beasts prowl. Not all of them are flesh and blood—for in ancient days the Jungle Planet became home to Transformers from Cybertron. Unlike the many other Cybertronian colonies across the galaxy, these early Cybertronian settlers left their wild world unspoiled by civilization and adapted to their harsh environment by adopting fearsome beast modes. Only the mightiest may rule this planet where strength and teeth are the only laws, and the insular tribes and clans who dwell here are distrustful of ancestral Cybertronians with vehicular alternate modes.
Gaia is tens of thousands of lightyears away. Thanks to the millennia without sentient beings, most of their structures have been completely destroyed and most of the planet has been grown-over with dense jungle. Gaia possesses a corrosive, toxic atmosphere; a few minutes of exposure will fatally corrode the bodies of Transformers. Fortunately, it's possible to circumvent this problem by adopting new alternate modes native to the planet.

Maximals

Maximize!

Arising from the ashes of the Great War, the Maximals are the descendants (at least in part) of the Autobots, controlling Cybertron under the Pax Cybertronia. The Maximals and their counterpart race the Predacons both owe their origins to the Great Upgrade, which provided the downsized, fuel-efficient bodies that became the hallmark of the successor factions.
In many ways, the Maximals share traits with their Autobot ancestors; primarily a "civilian" race, the Maximals are committed to upholding the peaceful, democratic values of their forebears. All this said, they aren't perfect: they still have their jerks, and Maximal science has occasionally resulted in the odd unethical scientific horrors.
The most distinctive factor of both Maximal and Predacon physiology is their development of pseudo-organic beast modes, allowing both sides to adopt alternate modes that blend in seamlessly with the organic lifeforms found elsewhere in the universe. This technology, an offshoot of earlier Pretender tech, sheathes a beast mode in an artificial organic skin, integrating its natural instincts directly into the Maximal form.
When Maximals take on beast modes, they tend to select mammals, birds or fish, although this is not a hard-and-fast rule. Occasionally, Maximals might choose to become insects, reptiles, or dinosaurs.
The Maximal activation code is "Maximize".

Predacons

Terrorize!

Arising from the ashes of the Great War, the Predacons are, at least in part, descendants of the Decepticons. Some sources suggest that they were born from what remained of the original five Predacons. By order of the Pax Cybertronia, they exist as something of an underclass, appearing to be equals, but firmly under the Maximals in the social order. This has led many Predacons to hold bitter grudges against the Maximals.
Predacons tend to take reptilian or arthropod beast modes, although this is not a hard-and-fast rule. They can also turn into less-than-realistic sea creatures and military vehicles.
The adjective for "of or pertaining to the Predacons" is Predaconial, though it is extremely common to simply substitute 'Predacon'.

Maximals, MAXIMIZE!!
