The After War period starts following the massive colony drops that brought an end to the 7th Space War and killed 99% of humanity living on the Earth's surface. With under 100 million survivors, those who remain alive have rebuilt their lives in a new way, with Vultures scouring the desolate countryside, looking for bounty and post-war Mobile Suits. Meanwhile, the remnants of the United Nations Earth (UNE) have reassembled with sponsors into the New United Nations Earth, and the colonists who had fought for independence have reassembled their Space Revolutionary Army (SRA).
The renewed conflict was brought to an end and the survivors have been striving for peace since.
