The Val-Trek Concern is the property of Count Valcas, a former Jedi Knight turned industrialist and tradesman.
History
Previously a Republic affiliated transport and freighter company, the Com-Trek Corporation was a failing business. Contracting to various systems, they had a variety of ships, but had mortgaged almost every asset with the Republican bank. However, days before the inevitable need to declare bankruptcy, they were approached by Count Valcas of Polis Mallas, a Jedi Knight who had made use of their services during his time in the Order.
The Count had retired from the Order for personal reasons, but had left on good terms, and was eager to use his Republic contacts to start his new life.
