Universal Threats

Planetary destruction. Galactic conquest. Universal-level threats. Whether a galactic empire, a singular omnipotent (by our standards) being, or a truly powerful alien warlord, these can threaten entire sectors of space, let alone a single planet, and require concentrated effort to combat.

World Class Threats

Everybody Wants To Rule The World. At least, these people do. Whether rule it, wipe out the population, replace them.. whatever the case, these villains are a threat to the whole planet, and humanity's way of life. Heroes must be ever-vigilant against these threats, because all they need to accomplish their goals is to win once.

Mystical and Macabre

From lowly zombies from the Gotham Swamp, to cruel sorcerers selling their own souls for power, and culminating with what mortals can only describe as 'The Devil', as well as a few things even beyond that, the threats from a mystical nature are hard to deal with for anyone who isn't equally adept at it, and when magic is involved, rules and the laws of nature might not mean anything.

Terrorists & Mercenaries

To save the planet, one must burn it down and start anew. Or, how I learned to stop worrying and took a paycheck. Terrorists and mercenaries only care about their philosophies or their bottom line, willing to murder millions in order to save billions. Or, because they deserve to die. Or, for money. Ruthless and violent, and not to be taken lightly.

Mutants & Outsiders

The Other. Everyone's 'enemy'. Responding to the hate and fear directed at them, if the humans are going to hate and fear them, might as well give them a reason. Motivated by hate or fear, or simply survival, these villains use their special gifts to manipulate, combat, or otherwise conflict with humanity's interests for their own, and feel justified doing so.

Metahuman Criminals

Get Powers, Get Paid. These criminals are in it for money or personal reasons, without a grander goal or ambition past making a good life for themselves. Varying in levels of violence and threat, the one common trait on all of them is that through technology or genetic gifts, they use their metahuman abilities to take what they want, and are too much for the police to handle.

The Insane

Sometimes pitied, often feared, but always dangerous. These poor wretches combine metahuman powers with various mental illnesses, making them unpredictable, uncontrollable, and in many cases, untreatable. From being incarnations of chaos to having multiple personality disorder with physical effects, heroes have to keep them contained. For everyone's health, mental or otherwise.

I'm going to be honest. There's no way to put these anywhere else. So here goes. The Mojoverse is a universe ruled by spineless moviemaker Mojo, using humans and slave races to make movies for other Spineless Ones.

Trivia

So while some of these villains are proprietary to whoever has been using them, it's probably safe to assume most of the goons are just.. up for grabs. Not every villain here has had an impact, it's just that villains are villains and the more the merrier. Or the messier, I guess.
