World of Aura
The World of Aura is a planet featured in CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon. The ancestors of all human species came from the original Earth.
History
Earth was ravaged by pollution and devastating conflicts. After World War VII (aka Ragnarok), some left for another Earth, the humans who stayed behind evolved the ability to turn into beings known as DRAGONs.
Locations
Tokyo

The former capital of Japan, this once prosperous city was devastated by the war and nearly entirely reclaimed by nature after five centuries of abandonment.
Dracunium Tower Ruins
The ruins of a Dracunium control facility, which presumably provided power to the city before it was destroyed, was found by Ange when she first arrived at the new world. She mistook it for the [[World of Mana Empire of Misurugi]]'s Ame-no-Mihashira at first.
Third Capital Shelter

One of the shelters created by the Capital Defense Organization before the war, this particular shelter is located in what used to be the central park of the city. The shelter appears to be fully autonomous, controlled by an automated system named Himawari ("sunflower" in Japanese).
By the time Ange and Tusk discovered it, all of the shelter's former occupants have been long dead, most likely due to starvation or dehydration. According to Himawari, this shelter is one of 20,076 similar shelters across the world, all of which are completely devoid of life.
Even five hundred and thirty eight years after the end of the war, robots still patrol the ruins of the city, informing any potential survivors to head to this location.
Hotel Mu La Flaga
A love hotel that Ange, Tusk and Vivian briefly stayed in after it was found by Vivian. Tusk managed to restore power to the building, enabling the use of light and hot water.
It was able to withstand the impossible test of time, although some of the furniture, such as the couch in Ange's room, seem to have deteriorated over the centuries.
Unable to read the Japanese sign of the hotel, Ange mistook it for an old castle where nobles lived.
Arzenal
Arzenal (アルゼナル Aruzenaru?) is an island in a distant sea with detention facilities that once held Norma along with a military base built to used to house the combat air-frames known as Para-mail.
DRAGONs
DRAGON (ドラゴン Doragon?, an acronym for Dimensional Rift Attuned Gargantuan Organic Neototype) refers to the titular antagonists of CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon and its manga adaptation. They are huge beings from Earth that invaded the World of Mana, whom they considered to be the "False" Earth.
It should be noted that "DRAGON" is the designation given to them by Arzenal. They refer to themselves as People of Aura (アウラの民).

History
Earth was ravaged by pollution and devastating conflicts. After World War VII (aka Ragnarok), some left for another Earth, the humans who stayed behind evolved the ability to turn into beings known as DRAGONs.
Description
The creatures range from large DRAGONs that exceed a total length of 100 metres to smaller DRAGONs that are roughly 15-20 metres long. They have a variety of individual attacks. Whenever Para-mail pilots encounter a new DRAGON, it is designated as a "Virgin" DRAGON, until it is assigned a class name. The pilots are paid more for the amount of information they acquire on the new class of DRAGON and for the greater danger they entail fighting it.
It is later revealed that the DRAGONs are evolved humans, the females being the small Schooner-Class and the males are the large ones.
Classes

Schooner-Class
They are the smallest in size, being only around fifteen to twenty meters in length, and have pink-colored skin. They appear to be the most numerous class of Dragons, as they always appear when a Singularity is opened. They can hypnotize Mana users simply by roaring at them. However, this seems to be their only ability, and it has no effect on Norma. Therefore, while battling Norma, they use physical attacks, such as kicking them out of their Para-mail and devouring them afterwards. They appear to be the most physically fragile Dragons, and can be killed with knives and small arms.
Brig-Class

Large Dragons with purple-coloured skin. They are capable of creating magic circles that can shoot a large number of shining orb-like projectiles that can be controlled at will. They have also been shown to be rather intelligent, as seen when one used its ability to set a trap for the First squadron.
Galleon-Class

Large Dragons who are more than a hundred meters in length, they have fourteen eyes, seven on either side, and their wings end in claws with three toes. Their scales are deep green in color. They have the ability to create lightning and barriers with magic circles.
Bighorn

A previously unknown type, the gigantic Bighorn-class is capable of erecting a magic circle that increases gravity within its perimeter, pinning enemies to the ground and eventually crushing them. The attack is generated by the massive horns on each side of its head and if even one is damaged, it loses the ability to generate the gravity field.
Locations
Dragon Village

The People of Aura, who slowly began to rebuild human civilization after the catastrophe, reside here.
Dragon Shrine

The palace where the High Priestess and her court discuss important matters.
Sports Resort
Salamandinay restored a sports resort more than five centuries old. It has a bowling alley, a tennis court, a baseball stadium, a race track, a golf course, table tennis tables, and rooms with twister and a claw crane game.
Tower of Aura

Named such by the People of Aura, this tower was once one of the many Dracunium control devices that powered Earth's nations. While most, if not all other such towers were detonated by the Dracunium chain reaction caused by the Ragna-mails on the last day of the war, this tower has survived relatively intact.
This was where Aura lived before she was forcefully taken away by Embryo and used to power the Mana system. The Empire of Misurugi's landmark, Ame-no-Mihashira, was based on these devices, and was used to extract Aura's Dracunium energy.
Trivia
- The names of the different classes of DRAGONs appear to be based on different sailing ship types. A Brig (or Brigantine) is a two-masted sailing ship. A Schooner (spelled as "Scuna" in the original subs but spelled correctly in the manga adaptation and Super Robot Wars V) is a small sailing ship, while a Galleon is a very large historical sailing ship.
- Ironically, despite having a society heavily influenced by ancient Japanese culture, all the named Dragons have western style names. On the other hand, most residents of the Empire of Misurugi have Japanese style names despite their primarily European-based culture.
