Metallicana Main

Metallicana is high fantasy setting with elves, orcs, wizards, vampires, werewolves, hobbits etc. Set on planet earth in the far future, after nuclear war and genetic nightmares.. the world has been sent back to the dark ages. At this point, no one knows or remembers anything about the 'old era stuff' because it was about 400+ years ago. The world, as everyone knows it, thinks the life they have right now is all that it is.

Background Information

Most of the kingdoms have been destroyed. The most well known kingdoms are De Purple (a once beautiful, prosperous land that turned into a place of death - literally all the life was drained out of it and people turned into zombies), The Iron Maiden Kingdom which is has sustained heavy damage but is still standing for the most part, The Metallicana Kingdom is destroyed, The Judas Kingdom is destroyed, and The White Snake Kingdom is destroyed. Player characters will be living in the Kingdom of Pantera and are there for safe sanctuary, with many more arriving. I KNOW THIS CHANNEL IS NAMED METALLICANA AND we're playing in Pantera. I thought of this later and I already registered the channel :(

Dark Schneider, the Legendary Exploder Wizard and an evil tyrant lead a campaign to try to take over all the kingdoms 15 years ago has been defeated (and sealed). He had 4 generals with him: Ninja Master Gara who wields the Masamune (the cursed blade), Kall-Su the ice mage who was adopted by DS, Avygeil the dark priest, and Arshes Nei the Thunder Empress who was also adopted by Dark Schneider as his daughter and then became his lover for a 100 years.

All the generals since DS was first sealed have been under the thrall of the dark entity, Anthrasax. DS was then unsealed and urged to defeat all the generals except Kall-Su. The battle was grueling and all of the major kingdoms have sustained heavy damage thanks to the fight with the General's dark rebel army versus Dark Schneider. Dark Schneider was sealed back into Luche (a boy who is actually older than he looks and he likes to wash underwear) and with Tia Noto Yoko, a white priestess in training sorta, acting as his ward. The three generals no longer under Anthrasax's thrall along with Luche and Yoko have now traveled to Pantera.. and hope to gather a good group of adventurers to help keep the world safe until the Dark Armies clash again.

What to Play

Anything fantasy is encouraged! If you want to play a mage there are specific 'types' of magic. Dark, Fire, Lightning, Wind, White, Summons. There will be a spell list that you may take spells from and (with approval) we encourage you to come up with your own spells! Please name them after something Heavy Metal band-themed to keep up with the naming conventions :) Have fun with it!

Alchemists are also fine as well as collectors/purveyors of old world technology. Just FYI - anything TECH is from the old world which is super super rare.

How to Play

Decide what type of character you would like to pick up and then please share it with the GMs. It's encouraged to then post your character on the Wiki with the list of abilities/spells they have for reference.

Spell List

• Black Magic Spells: Very powerful, but usually very costly spells that draw upon the power of darkness to have stronger effects than the elemental versions. However, they can have costs, physical or mental.

• Elemental Magic Spells: Spells that use the power of elemental spirits to accomplish effects.

• White Magic Spells: Spells cast for the benefit of others, which allow to heal, to bless and to purify.

• Other Magic Spells: Summoning Spells, Energy/Arcane Spells, and High Ancient Magic spells, the latter of which is exceptionally rare and powerful.
