These are the Mobile Weapons Asgard uses in various circumstances. They can complement Mobile Suits, or are more appripriate for Space and Air Combat than others. This grants them a versatility and a scale that may not be on the same scale as either Mobile Suits or Super Robots, but also allows Asgard to operate in different terrain or in Worlds with lower scale technology, an advantage that can't be understated.
Ground Combat Units
Smaller and generally more 'conventional' combat machines, these robots are usually for use alongside traditional military warfare, as a supplement. This being said, some are highly specialized and unique. The term "Arm Slave" is the shortened form of "Armored Mobile Master-Slave System". They are largely humanoid powered suits operating in a semi-Master/Slave system to coordinate with the pilot (Master). The average Arm Slave (or AS for short) is roughly 8–10 meters tall. This places the craft smaller than most mecha in size. The size of the Arm Slave as shown in the anime is roughly 15–18 meters, conflicting with the figures stated in the novel.
Knightmare Frames are humanoid war machines developed by the Holy Britannian Empire. Unveiled during the invasion of Japan, Knightmare Frames are almost exclusively used in place, and sometimes alongside of, the practically obsolete main battle tanks. The name "Knightmare Frame" is a play on the word "nightmare" and a knight's mare. There also exists a derivative type of war machine based on the Knightmare Frames called the Knight Giga Fortress.

Variable Fighters
Variable Fighters are a type of mecha introduced in the Super Dimension Fortress Macross television series and feature in all works of the Macross Timeline. They are transforming mecha that were originally developed by humans using OverTechnology obtained from ASS-1. The discovery of the Zentradi race —giant, humanoid aliens genetically engineered for military conquest— prompted the development of the variable fighters' Battroid mode by the U.N. Spacy. Although humanity hadn't yet met any Zentradi, the discovery of the SDF-1 Macross and its accommodations for humanoid giants justified the development of a weapon that could enable mankind to fight the aliens on their own environment (Battroid mode) on the ground (Gerwalk mode) and the air (Fighter mode). Thus, research into alien OverTechnology culminated in the development of the variable fighters for the U.N. Spacy.
They are capable of transforming from aircraft (Fighter mode) into humanoid robots (Battroid mode). Most (but not all) can also transform into an intermediate mode called GERWALK (Ground Effective Reinforcement of Winged Armament with Locomotive Knee-Joint), similar to the Fighter mode, but with the legs and arms of Battroid mode, making it capable of flight, walking and using hand-held weapons that are accessible in the Battroid mode, GERWALK mode can also allow Variable Fighters to hover in low altitudes and land on unstable terrain. A lot of Variable Fighters are capable of spaceflight but not all of them are. Battroid mode is also known as "B-mode". The Queadluun-Rhea is a modernized reproduction of the original Queadluun-Rau made by General Galaxy.

Emblem Frames, Orbital Frames & L.E.V.s
An Orbital Frame is a mechanical, often humanoid, suit that makes extensive use of Metatron-based technology. Orbital Frames were developed and are most often used by BAHRAM, who use it to the extent such that most people who encounter Orbital Frames in general believe one to be owned by the organization. A Laborious Extra-Orbital Vehicle (frequently abbreviated "LEV") is a manned mechanical suit that comprises a variety of uses throughout the Martian Revolution Timeline. The majority of LEV's seen are armed with large guns and used as infantry, while others may be used for non-military purposes as well, such as for construction and mining. The Emblem Frames are the fictional spacecrafts-fighters piloted by the Angel Troupe members in the Project G.A. franchise. Also called "Angel Frames", they are notable for their mobility combined with the firepower and defense of battleships, each emblazoned with an emblem unique to the universe in which they were built.

Para-Mails
Para-mails are mobile weapons that Norma use to fight against DRAGON's, based off the Ragna-mail. Like Ragna-mail they have two different modes. Destroyer Mode for fighting in combat at close proximity with DRAGONs, and Flight Mode which gives them greater mobility to fly throughout the air. Each model has specific weaponry and gear, but the para-mail can also be personalized.
