Galaxy Reform League

A ruthless terrorist organization determine to rule their section of the Galaxy.
Organization
The Galaxy Reform League was formed of the Caprica Sector, a highly industrialized and technologically developed system, which have operated on the Outer Rim of the Galactic Republic for years. The site of one of the last great battles between the Republic and the Sith, the fallout from the wars were felt for some time, but their salvaging operations have pushed them into a technological and financial overflow, allowing them to be financially secure and economically prosperous. However, the fallout from the war and the damage done to their populations have left them financially powerful, but their population took a hit, which did a lot to sour morale and their trust in the Galactic Republic. The politicians and activists of the system gathered on the most currently advanced planet in the system, Caprica Six. And they had a plan.
They wanted to secede from the Republic, but more than that, they understood that as a privileged Outer Rim system, they needed to ensure a form of protection. They needed a military, trading partners, and a way to avoid both Imperials and Raiders. The founders of Caprica Six started a movement, political, religious and social, to unite all people under this banner, and to motivate them to separate from the Republic Senate. But they needed this to work, and they started sending agents on different Systems open for trade, contacting powerful industrialists and commercial partners, and taking steps to indoctrinate the people who were going to fight for them that this was a holy crusade. To secede from the Republic that had led them to this state of population ruin, and to be ready to fight and die for their principles.
Unfortunately, as is often the case, those who took charge after the Founders were much more personally motivated. They had a blood feud against the Republic, and they had their hands on a group of zealous, self-sacrificing and devoted followers, who believed, or could be led to believe, this was a righteous, holy cause to fight and die for. And they had every reason to forment dissent and distrust among the Republic. So they changed their goals and efforts from a self-sustaining system-wide reform and alliance gathering, to a more bloody-minded destruction, or at least, damage of the system. They used and enhanced the mythology of 'The Original Seven' as they called them, the Founders of this reform movement, to further stir the zeal of their soldiers, whom they began to call 'Warriors'. And aware that rebellious, zealous soldiers would cause a lot of initial damage, but then fall apart to the might of the Jedi, they enforced a disciplinary fervor for tradition and military service.
Their current goals are to amass funds with illegal weapons and drugs sales, taking advantage of the crises on other systems like Opia, and their proximity to Hutt Space. They have their Senators poisoning the minds of others in the Republic Senate, they have their Governors sewing dissent and religious fervor to break away from the Republic and defend themselves from the Empire and the Hutts, and they have their intelligence agents stealing whatever military secrets they can, which has been problematic due to the Republic's reliance on the Jedi. But they managed to locate some military projects the Republic have been working on, and fully intend to use this against them...

The Galaxy Reform League has not been resting on its laurels. While they have no real ship-manufacturing plants, and purchasing a Battleship-class item would be noticed, their decades-long salvage of post-war derelicts has led them to having a high number of functional and repaired ships. Most of these are not fit for combat, having been refitted with compatible technology and meant to be manned by a skeleton crew. The vast majority of their ships are Cruisers, Frigates, and the occasional Battleship taken from many different systems or of Imperial designs, repaired into function, mostly used to travel and perform terrorist actions. However, they seem to have a lot of these, allowing them to use them in self-destructive attacks, which has so far been their calling card.
However, their recent activities have gotten them some high technology, as well as an unreported raid on a special Republic military facility, which very few members of the Senate were aware of. This raid got them an entirely new type of ship, built in secret by systems which remembered the war with the Sith Empire and wanted to be ready in case the Cold War erupted in a red hot one once again, not wanting to rely on the Jedi to keep them safe if worse came to worst. The first and only Galactic Republic Navy Dreadnought, the Battlestar, and its sister Destroyer, the Pegasus, were stolen by a GRL raid. On top of that, the Jedi have found out they were stealing data which could lead to the fabrication of a Cloaking Device, which would absolutely change the face of Galactic War, especially in the hands of so-called 'Freedom Fighters'.
Dreadnought Battle Star
The first and only Galactic Republic-built Dreadnought, as a pre-emptive strike against a new Sith Empire war. The Dreadnought is as much a Space Station as it is a Battleship. The concept of the Battle Star was to be able to provide main battle line combat against any other Battleship and come out on top. The Battle Star was built to resist a beating, with several batteries of anti-ship cannons, and the most powerful shields in the Galaxy. What it sacrifices in speed, it makes up for in Shields, having the equivalent of low-level planetary defense shields. A large part of the Battle Star are, in fact, engines, allowing for this kind of power output.
The Battle Star is the equivalent of a Space Sation, complete with city-like living quarters, self-sustaining living conditions, and the ability to withstand a solid beating. While it can't simply fly into an entire fleet and take them apart, the size and power of the Battle Star allows it to act as a front battle line, especially if backed by the Pegasus-class Destroyers which were made to operate alongside it. The main battle tactic is for other ships to resupply, regroup and repair within the Battle Star's shields, as wepp as provide fire to go through an enemy fleet's vanguard, before turning into a defensive position to allow for slow but steady progress. Due to this, the Battle Star is a phenomenal piece of military hardware.
Dreadnought Battle Star Crew
The Crew of the Battle Star are those who are loyal to the cause, but also ingrained with the military discipline the GRL knew would be needed. As such, they are less zealous to the religious fervor the other GRL members are, but are just as devoted to military doctrine and discipline, seeing it as an act of valor inherited from parent to child. Because of this, they plan tactically and follow the chain of command far, far more than one would expect of other members of the group. The Admiral in charge of the Battle Star is a veteran who fought as a low-ranking officer during the last Sith conflict, who saw his fellows die while waiting for the Jedi to win the day, so he has no great love for the Republican way of doing things. His crew are very loyal, and have strong family ties to each other.

Destroyer Pegasus
The Pegasus-Class Destroyer, simply named Pegasus by the GRL, was the Destroyer prototype that was meant to assist with the Dreadnought Battlestar. Having technically equivalent firepower to the Battlestar, the Pegasus was meant to be able to dock with and resupply from the Battlestar, as well as act as part of its main defense/offense line, able to fly in coordination with it behind its heavy shields. While the Pegasus is not an overly powerful version of a Destroyer, it has all the firepower of a Battleship and more maneuverability, able to deal massive damage to enemy fleets and ships. The only drawback is that its defense is linked to the Battlestar Dreadnought, classifying it as a Destroyer, and not a Battleship.
The real power of the Pegasus is that it was an unexpected gain from the GRL's raid on a secret Republic shipyard, and as such, is their main Battleship, one of the cornerstones of their fleet, the other being the Dreadnought Battlestar. This has inspired them to actively retool more of their derelict ships to form a sizeable fleet, but right now, the Pegasus and the Battlestar are their only fully operational Battleships.
Destroyer Pegasus Crew
The crew of the Destroyer Pegasus is of a more militant, religiously driven crew than that of the Battlestar. They are loyal to the cause, and faithful to their higher purpose, and therefor more willing to do risky things. They are highly skilled, for certain, but have their positions due to Nepotism and political maneuvering, having a lot of the people's support. While they don't clash with the GRL's current leadership, or the crew of the Battlestar, the military intelligence branch of the GRL wants to replace them, or inject more of their level-headed members, not wanting the crew of the Pegasus to sacrifice it for their greater goal. At least, not before more systems rally to their fleet.

Tauron Frigates
The only Caprica-system manufactured ships. Upscaling transport frigates to be battle-ready. These were mostly used for salvage and transport and sales operations, but since the preparation for wide-scale rebellion has started, the GRL has started to add salvaged weapons and adding armor and shields to their regular frigates, getting them ready for battle. Most of them are, for now, unable to be launched without sacrificing Centurions, because of a lack of manpower, but they are slowly but surely getting to be combat ready, easy to hide among their retrofitted salvage ships.

GRL Starfighters
Built off the technology recovered by the Caprica engineers, the small two man fighters of the GRL are simple in design, made more for assaulting starships and cities rather than engaging in combat. They are of a pragmatic design, with no shields, no hyperdrive, and simple weapons. However, they have incredibly maneuverability.
The newest models however, have been fitted to be operated by War Droids. Several Decurion-types have been used as pilots, and the head scientist of the GRL, Nero Balrog, has been attempting to replace the pilot by a simple War Droid AI, allowing them to mass produce robot-controlled starfighters, without sacrificing any of their physical manpower. So far, the technology has eluded him and his staff.

War Droid Legion
To supplement their forces, the GRL has to resort to the mass purchase of Battle Droids. However, these are by design cheap and easily destroyed, especially by forces such as Jedi and Sith. Moreover, the stronger models tend to have more expenses associated to them. However, the Caprica System is known for technological advancement and restoration efforts, so they've been developing their own armed forces, called the Legion.
The Legion is arranged via numbers of 100, with the Centurion commanding ten Decurions, and the Decurions controlling ten Legionaires. Despite the higher rank, the Centurions and Decurions are organized by processing power and strategy engine capabilities, with the Centurions giving tactical analysis back and forth to the Decurions, and them dispensing orders to the much more powerful Legionaire models. The high command of of the GRL has their own Praetorian Guard, which hand the tactical acumen of a Decurion, but the combat capabilities of a Legionaire.
