Ground Combat Units

These are the Mobile Weapons Asgard uses in various circumstances. They can complement Mobile Suits, or are more appripriate for Space and Air Combat than others. This grants them a versatility and a scale that may not be on the same scale as either Mobile Suits or Super Robots, but also allows Asgard to operate in different terrain or in Worlds with lower scale technology, an advantage that can't be understated.
Smaller and generally more 'conventional' combat machines, these robots are usually for use alongside traditional military warfare, as a supplement. This being said, some are highly specialized and unique.

Mobile Suits And Personal Troopers

A mobile weapon (機動兵器) is the generic term used to describe vehicles that incorporate technology typically found in mobile suits, as opposed to conventional vehicles such as tanks, planes, and ships. The term "mobile weapon" can be used to describe any vehicle fitting that definition (such as mobile suits and mobile armors) but is typically only used when referring to more than one type simultaneously or when it is difficult to label a vehicle as a specific sub-type.
Most mobile weapons fall under one of four categories: Mobile Pods, the most simplistic type of mobile weapon; Mobile Suits (MS), the more popular and iconic type of mobile weapon; Mobile Armors (MA), larger non-human counterparts to mobile suits; and Transformable Mobile Weapons, which traditionally can switch between an MS-mode and an MA-mode. Note: there are others, however, that do not conform fully to one of these categories.

Gundams

A Gundam is an advanced, high performance mobile suit, often constructed to be much more powerful than the standard production mobile suits. They are generally equipped with the latest experimental technology available at the time of their construction. The definition of a Gundam varies from one timeline to another. In most series it is used as an acronym to refer to something, however in all but the most recent series these acronyms were derived after the fact and do not appear at any point in the animated works. The protagonist's mobile suit of a series usually carries the name Gundam. The main suit in each series usually sports a mainly white and blue color scheme, with yellow and red accents, and sports at least one pair of yellow or white V-fins on its head.

Super Robots

Asgard's most powerful forces. Fortresses of Black Iron. Evolution made into metallic 'Flesh'. Endless Spirals of power. The Power of the Sun. Super Robots are Asgard's first and last line of defense against everything from world-threatening monsters and evil gods.
Super Robot (スーパーロボット Sūpā Robotto) is a term used in mecha manga and anime to describe a giant robot or mecha, with an arsenal of fantastic super-powered weapons, are extremely resistant to damage unless the plot calls for it, sometimes transformable or combined from two or more robots and/or vehicles usually piloted by young, daring heroes, and often shrouded by mystical or legendary origins.

Getters And Ganmen

Getter Rays (ゲッター線 Getta-Sen) are a fictional cosmic ray radiation, typically green in color, prevalent throughout the multiverse. It is a mysterious source of energy that had a part in the evolution of life on Earth and possibly several other planets and realities. Getter Rays appear to have been prevalent since the beginning of time. Millions of years before mammals evolved, when the dinosaurs walked the Earth, a shower of Getter Rays penetrated the atmosphere. This drove the dinosaurs to near-extinction, the survivors forming the Dinosaur Empire within the depths of the Earth. With most of the Earth's surface thus emptied for the taking, the surviving mammals evolved under the influence of the Getter Rays, resulting in many life forms - including humans.
Spiral Power (螺旋力, Rasen Chikara) is the primary power source of all Spiral beings and the basis of strength for the main characters and all of mankind, but it is presented as a philosophy and a model of physics. Spiral Power is the power of evolution, generated by beings capable of doing so, like humans and other DNA-based animals, whose spiral double helix molecular structure allows them to get stronger through the generations. Spiral Power is what connects spiral beings to the universe and is produced by the energy generated by gametogenesis in living creatures to keep evolution moving forward. Beastmen, because they do not reproduce naturally, cannot evolve, thus are unable to produce Spiral Power. The amount of Spiral Power produced by an individual may vary and is based not only on its own limitations, but also its immediate will to survive and persevere. According to Lordgenome, the humanoid shape and form is the absolute pinnacle of spiral lifeform with the greatest ability to manifest and control Spiral Power over less evolved creatures.
Spiral Power has both infinite potential and applications - it has been known to regenerate and grow new parts on machines to a universal and multiversal scale, and even create tunnels through space-time. One of its most prevalent applications in the series is in weaponry: Spiral-enhanced ammunition provides phenomenal stopping power, making a simple shotgun capable of damaging a Mugann, while Spiral-based warheads and energy beams demonstrate destructive power far in excess of nuclear weapons. Furthermore, when a being's Spiral Power is truly awakened, they are capable of utilizing this power, outside of weaponry, remaining just as capable as they were with weapons. Another application mentioned by Gimmy in the final episode is the power to resurrect the dead, the only instances of use being when Kamina reappeared to break Simon and Yoko free of their trap. However, Simon and Leeron rejected the idea, seeing it as a hindrance to the future.

Arcane Machines

Not everything can be explained with science. Some machines take their energy from something.. other. And some are simply an affront to nature. But these are the machines needed to fight against similarly dark and empowered opponents.

Evangelion Units

Evangelion (エヴァンゲリオン?) are giant, living artificial human (人造人間, Jinzō ningen?) of near-godlike power and are the namesake of the Evangelion franchise. They are present in nearly every single franchise entry, although their functionality and role can vary greatly depending on the story being told. Originally created by Gehirn and further developed by NERV under the supervision of SEELE, the Evangelion are born from samples of the very first Angel, Adam, with the exception of Evangelion Unit-01, which was created from the second angel, Lilith. While the Evangelion were supposedly created to combat the Angel threat, their most important functions, and one of their greatest secrets, is to initiate Third Impact to evolve humanity further.
