Mazinger World
The World of Mazinger.
Photon Power Laboratory

The Photon Power Laboratory is a laboratory founded by Juzo Kabuto on the very place where he discovered the Japanium element, which in turn lead to the use of Super Alloy Z and Photonic Energy. After Juzo retired to work on the Mazinger Z, the lab went under the management of Yanosuke Yumi.
History
After discovering Japanium, Juzo founded the Photon Lab to study it further for its applicable uses. After the events that took place on Bardos, Juzo secretly made modifications to the laboratory with Tsubasa Nishikiori. These modifications were later completed by Juzo's successor Prof. Yumi. As Dr. Hell's Mechanical Beasts appeared, more robots such as the Mazinger Army and special attachments like the Jet Scrander were developed. As the final battle with Dr. Hell commenced, Prof. Yumi showed the hidden form of the Photon Lab, the Photon Power Fortress, a large mobile fortress with a powerful photon cannon. However, the Fortress was rendered useless in the battle with Dr. Hell.
Technology
The Photon Lab has a hangar for robots that are being developed or in storage for later deployment. A central room monitors what goes on outside the laboratory. For defense, the Lab has a barrier and missile launchers in a perimeter. Prof. Yumi can also have the Lab self-destruct through the push of a switch, but rather than completely destroy the lab, the Photon Lab merely assumes its fortress state.
After blowing off the outer shell, the Photon Lab assumes its mobile fortress state. Prof. Yumi stated that it was made specifically for when Bardos shows its true form. The Fortress is armed with a large cannon that shoot Photon energy that can destroy a Mechanical Beast in just one blast.

Mazinger Army

The Mazinger Army in Mazinger Edition Z! is a squad of robots under the employment of the Photon Power Laboratory composing of Lori & Loru with their Million, Shun Azuma with his Baion, Masao Oide with his Daion, and Sayaka Yumi with her Aphrodite A. With the revelation of Koji with his Mazinger Z, they mainly act as back-up units.
We first see the Mazinger Army battle the Mechanical Beasts in the first arc with Koji still getting used to Mazinger Z. When Koji got the Z they work together to stop the Mechanical Beast invasion. However when Juzo dies from an injury caused by Baron Ashura's troops, Koji tries to kill Ashura only to be held back by the Mazinger Army hoping to capture him. But that fails and so Koji and the Mazinger Army go on bad ends.
After that Koji doesn't get along with the group in future battles seeing the army as weak imitations of the Mazinger, believing the genuine Mazinger Z is unstoppable and has no need of help. In another battle with Baron Ashura, where Koji and Sayaka are captured, the army comes with the Jet Scrander to save everyone from sinking. After this, Koji starts to appreciate the group better.

Kurogane House
The Kurogane House is an inn founded and owned by Tsubasa Nishikiori. While it appears to be a regular inn on the outside, it features several hidden and technologically advanced features such as a hangar for the Hover Pilder. Some of its staff are also highly trained combatants. The Kurogane House is at first glance a standard Japanese-styled inn with rooms decorated with tatami floors, futons, and meals delivered on small trays. There are also hot springs for guests to relax in for both men and women. Beneath the exterior is a hidden hangar that stores the Hover Pilder and weapons made or used with Super Alloy Z and Photonic Energy. The hangar also has a chemical lab used by Tsubasa.
Most staff in the Kurogane House are dressed in traditional Japanese kimono and provide service to their guests when needed. Despite their appearances, some are also combatants who prepare for most circumstances. The strongest fighters among the staff however are the Kurogane 5, personally handpicked by Tsubasa.

Mazinger Angels

The Mazinger Angels (abbreviated as MA) are a secret special forces team of female giant robot pilots. While it is unknown when they were founded, they have always appeared whenever trouble has. There are several branches around the world, including Japan and America. How and where 'Mazinger' comes from is unknown, as the giant robot is nowhere to be seen in the series, nor have their been references to the Angels being referred to as having power of gods or devils.
The base of the Japanese Branch was originally located somewhere in Aokigahara and is called the Science Fortress Laboratory.

Mechabeasts
Doctor Hell's Invincible Mechabeast and Phantom Beast army. Mechanical Beasts are the robotic troops originally used by the Mycenae Empire back when the large Mechanical Gods landed on Earth, they were uncovered and later used by Dr. Hell in his plot for world domination.
The Mechanical Beasts stand over 20 meters tall and are armed with a variety of weapons such as missiles, blades, and beams. They were originally controlled by the biomechanical Kedora which gave the Mechanical Beasts a vicious battle nature. Alternatively, they can be controlled by commands from certain individuals like Archduke Gorgon. After Dr. Hell uncovered them, he had a brainwashed Kenzo Kabuto reprogram the robots with an AI that had them function as if they were driven by instinct. Dr. Hell could control the Mechanical Beasts through a special rod that was regularly given to Baron Ashura.
The Mechanical Beasts originally came as foot soldiers for the Mechanical Gods as they came to Earth to set it up as a strategic point for an intergalactic war. However, Zeus broke ties with his old home after getting a liking to the native humans. Hades in a plan to take control of the Mycenae Empire, used Mechanical Beasts to try and overthrow Zeus but failed with his body destroyed. But Hades' soul sunk Bardos into the sea, never to be seen for thousands of years. Dr. Hell and a few colleagues later discovered the Mechanical Beasts sealed behind a statue of Zeus among other Mycenae artifacts. Taking control of Kenzo, Dr. Hell has him reconstruct the Mechanical Beasts for his plans of world domination.
Mycenae Empire

The Mycenae Empire were once a powerful military force from ancient times until they were driven underground, specifically below Bardos. The members of the empire vary by size, appearance, and personnel. The Warrior Beasts and the generals are all massive cyborgs while the Emperor of Darkness is a large flaming entity.
In present times, an expedition to the island led by Juzo Kabuto found the ruins of the Empire's civilization, along with some Talos units. But one of the scientists, Dr. Hell, planning to use them to gain control of the world, used the machines to massacre the scientists so that no one would stand against him. Using their technology, he built his Mechanical Beasts and set his plans for world domination.
In the Great Mazinger series, it is revealed that the Mycenae Empire still survived underground, building their civilization with a series of tunnels that extend around the world, and that Duke Gorgon was a servant of the Great General Of Darkness. It is revealed also that many of the original inhabitants were transformed into Warrior Beasts or enslaved to serve as foot soldiers to run the Mikelos.
Millenia later, the Empire's ancient but advanced technology was used by Dr. Hell in his plot for world domination. After Dr. Hell was killed in battle; his former servant and current incarnation of the Mycenae priests Tristan and Isolde, Baron Ashura offered him/herself up in sacrifice to make the now cyborg army of the empire rise from the depths of the Earth to retake the surface.
The Mycenae Empire possessed ancient but advanced technology that was supplied by the Mechanical Gods that visited them, building the Mechanical Beasts piloted by the biomechanical Kedora. Other examples of their technology included a large tower that functioned as some sort of time machine to have an event from the past occur in the present time within the said tower. After Millinea of being underground, the Empire replaced their original robotic soldiers with the Warrior Beasts and Seven Generals, massive cyborgs noted for having a human-like face on their bodies.

Mycenae Warrior Beasts
The Warrior Beasts (戦闘獣 Sentoujuu) were the secret super-weapons that made up a majority of the Mycenae Empire's military. Unlike the Mechanical Beasts, which were purely mechanical weapons used by the Mycenae (and later Dr. Hell) before switching soldiers, the Warrior Beasts are cyborgs instead of just machines.
As noted above, Warrior Beasts are gigantic cyborgs; mechanical frames fused with organic flesh and controlled by an implanted Mycenae warrior's brain. These traits are most often seen as a human-like face or head somewhere on the body. Thanks to their cyborg nature their reaction time, adaptability, and reflexes are much greater than the Mechanical Beasts. They also have emotion and free will, with the ability to speak even. A big weakness however is their exposed human faces, which can kill the Warrior Beasts on impact.
While little is known about their history in the empire, the Empire does take the acts of traitors. The imprisoned Garalia had shown psychotic behavior in addition to free will, not unlike a human. Some do not even have murderous intents such as Bruton and Kelvinius, showing a diverse range of emotion and personalities. In Episode 7, It is shown that Warrior Beasts can be made in the span of a day, perhaps hours in the making of Grecios. In Episode 52, the process of "fusion" is hinted where Shinichiro Okiwa was "merged" to create the Warrior Beast Jerunicas. It is implied that during the time when the Empire was taken over by the Emperor of Darkness, many of the inhabitants were forced to become Warrior Beasts. Combining human and robot bodies has also been shown on those not in the empire to create Warrior Beasts.
Ancient Times
This section may or may not be part of the distant past of this world. Recoards are vague. There is evidence that it may be part of the Getter Continuum, but it may also be the origin of the Mazingers.

Kingdom of Mu
Mu is an ancient lost continent that was said to have sunk to the depths of the ocean 10,000 years prior to the modern day in God Mazinger. It is the main setting of God Mazinger, ruled by Queen Aila Mu. For some time it has been under attack by the Dragonia Kingdom and a legend of the God Mazinger had been passed down for generations. How Mu sank is never revealed in the anime, but the manga gives reveals that God Mazinger itself to be the very force that sinks part of the continent.
The manga gives a detailed background of the first people of Mu, thousands of years ago a spaceship came to Earth with the passengers looking for a new home planet after their old one was destroyed by an atomic war. However, they could not survive their new environment and chose a continent to live on to better adapt to their surroundings. The process was very long and lasted for thousands of years. Their conditions grew worse the longer they waited in space and found a continent detached from the rest of the world. Still they had to change their appearance and bodily functions and used the Hidden Elm to modify themselves on a genetic level to resemble the inhabitants native to the planet. They also gained neighbors from another alien civilization that was better suited to the environment, the inhabitants of Dora who lived on the edge of the continent. Eventually, the Mu people forgot their origins and gained a guardian deity in the form of the God Mazinger. Soon the inhabitants from Dora became the Empire of Dinosaurs planning to conquer Mu as they still retain their war-loving attitudes and gain the Hidden Elm for the royal family.
The current queen, Aila Mu summoned Yamato Hino to pilot the God Mazinger as told in the prophecy and manages to push back the empire. But when the Mazinger is destroyed and reassembled into a destroyer it starts several earthquakes. Its consciousness in the form of the Creator had destroy the world due to the presence of Ma. Yamato however, convinces the Creator not to go through with it by showing his love for Aila. With this only part of Mu is destroyed. And after many years parts of it collided with Asia forming the Japanese Archipelago.

Dragonia Kingdom
The Dragonia Kingdom is the antagonist group in God Mazinger. Originally forced underground years ago, they plan to take over Mu and gain its hidden treasure the Koshurishimono. Led by Dorado until his death with his son Eldo taking over. They have advanced technology able to build or reconfigure robots called the Megalo Legion as well as witchcraft to defeat enemies.
Originally they were aliens from a world called Dora that was ruined by the biomechanical weapons, the Megalo Legion. The inhabitants had went out into space to find a new world to inhabitant. Eventually they found Earth but were only able to adapt to living in the conditions on the edge of the continent of Mu. Using their advanced technology, they managed to reconfigure their physiologies to better suit the rest of the continent and take it from the Mu people by force through war and use revived dinosaurs as war animals. The main reason was because Mu possessed a special device called the Hidden Elm which could manipulate genes and fix the quickly decaying cells of the royal family.
Dorado had lead his Kingdom to conquer Mu and take the Hidden Elm to restore his dying family. His son Eldo, had planned to overthrow his father and take a more offensive approach to conquering Mu such as using nuclear weaponry, genetic experiments, and even the Megalo Legion which destroyed Dora in the first place. At the end, the kingdom is wiped out by the God Mazinger as it caused Earthquakes which decimated the armies and eliminated the entire royal family.

Boy this is going to keep being edited, because of Mazinger ZERO and Infinity. The Grendizer sections may be removed to go more in line with Grendizer Giga if we decide on it. Nothing's set in stone yet.
